Hill Press is not liable in any way for the content of clients’ writing. For example, we are not responsible for fact-checking or verifying the accuracy of information in clients’ manuscripts. We are not responsible for ensuring clients have not plagiarized. Our clients maintain all liability and responsibility for the content of their own work.
Hill Press will let prospective authors know if we feel our skills and content knowledge are not aligned with their book projects and we are unable to provide services to them. We edit fiction and nonfiction manuscripts. We do not edit poetry. We do not work on manuscripts that we deem discriminatory or pornographic or that spread science denial or misinformation.
Each executed contract between Hill Press and a client defines the services Hill Press will provide that client, as well as the agreed upon payment terms. We reserve the right to refuse agreed upon services if agreed upon payment terms are not met by the client.
